Awaziem Leaves Nantes for Konyaspor on Two-Year Deal

The Super Eagles defender's transfer was finalised on Wednesday, with the signing ceremony held at the Konyaspor Museum inside the club's stadium. Football Branch Manager Ali Çamgöz was present to welcome him. Konyaspor confirmed the deal on Instagram, saying Awaziem would wear the number 15 shirt for the club.

The 28-year-old centre-back, capped by Nigeria at major international tournaments, joins Konyaspor as they build their squad for the new Süper Lig season. He is expected to link up with his new teammates as preparations continue.
