Ambrose Ochigbo Swaps Qatar for Tunisia in Three-Year Etoile du Sahel Deal

Etoile Sportive du Sahel have signed Nigerian midfielder Ambrose Ochigbo on a three-year deal, with the Tunisian club confirming the move across its media channels on Sunday, August 2.
The 20-year-old arrives at the Sousse Olympic Stadium after departing Qatari second-division side Al-Khor SC, where he spent last season following a loan spell in Saudi Arabia with Al Kholood.
Ochigbo isn't new to Tunisian football. He played for ES Zarzis in 2024 before his move to the Gulf, and now returns to a league he already knows as Etoile look to rebuild. The club finished seventh last season, level on 41 points with Zarzis.
He has yet to receive a senior call-up to Nigeria's Super Eagles, but the move to Tunisia's top flight gives him a stronger platform to force his way into contention.
