Newcastle United Appoint Matthias Jaissle as New Head Coach
Newcastle United have officially named German coach Matthias Jaissle as their new head coach, beginning a new chapter at St. James' Park following the departure of Eddie Howe. Jaissle joins the Premier League club after a successful spell with Al Ahli, where he won major trophies and earned a reputation for playing attacking, high-energy football.
The 38-year-old has signed a four-year contract with Newcastle and has already joined the squad during their pre-season preparations. Before coaching Al Ahli, Jaissle also enjoyed success with Red Bull Salzburg, winning league titles and helping develop several young players.
