Manchester United complete fourth signing of the summer as Kit Margetson joins from Swansea

Manchester United have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Kit Margetson from Swansea City, completing their fourth piece of summer business. The 19-year-old arrives as a free agent after his contract at the Championship club expired, though United reached a compensation agreement with Swansea to reflect his development through their academy.
In a statement, United said Margetson "kept 10 clean sheets in 34 appearances" while on loan at Cymru Premier side Connah's Quay Nomads last season, helping the club reach the Europa League. He has also won youth caps for Wales and made his Under-21 debut against Belarus in March.
Margetson is the son of Martyn Margetson, Wales' current goalkeeping coach and a former Swansea and England number one. Swansea, in their own statement, confirmed the compensation package and wished him well at Old Trafford.
