Chesterfield Sign Defender Remeao Hutton After Gillingham Release

Chesterfield have signed defender Remeao Hutton on a free transfer after his Gillingham contract was terminated by mutual consent, BBC Sport reports. The length of his new deal has not been disclosed.

Hutton, 27, joined the Gills in January 2024 and made 107 appearances in League Two during his time at the club. He came through the academy at Birmingham City and has previously had spells at Barrow and Swindon Town.
