PSG Drop Out of Michael Olise Race, Handing Real Madrid a Clear Run

Paris Saint-Germain have decided against making a move for Michael Olise, according to Foot01. The French champions are unwilling to meet Bayern Munich's reported €200 million valuation of the winger, a stance that leaves Real Madrid without a direct rival if they choose to formalise their own interest.

PSG's reluctance is described by Foot01 as a deliberate shift away from marquee, high-fee signings, with sporting director Luis Campos said to prefer developing the "next Olise" over paying for the current one. The report frames it as a reaction to the financial strain that followed the club's Neymar and Messi-era spending.

Real Madrid's interest is not new. L'Equipe has reported that Olise has already spoken with France teammates Kylian Mbappe and Aurelien Tchouameni about life at the Bernabeu, and the France international is said to view a move to Spain as his priority. Nothing is close to official. Bayern have so far resisted opening talks, and Real Madrid would still need to reconcile a deal of that size with the futures of players like Vinicius Junior, whose contract situation L'Equipe has also linked to any funding plan.

For now, this sits at the interest stage on Madrid's side, with PSG's withdrawal the only confirmed shift in the picture.
