Al-Ahli target Roma's Manu Kone and free agent Idrissa Gueye to replace Enzo Millot

Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia have identified Roma midfielder Manu Kone as a potential successor to Enzo Millot, who has fallen out of the club's plans for next season.
Sporting director Rui Pedro has decided Millot won't be part of his squad going forward, and Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari, reporting via Goal.com, named Kone as the club's leading target to fill the gap. Longari also named a second option, free agent Idrissa Gueye, who left Everton when his contract expired at the end of last season.
Kone will not be easy to prise away from Roma. He impressed for France at the 2026 World Cup, starting four of his five appearances without scoring or assisting, and has interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Atletico Madrid among others.
Al-Ahli can't move for either target until Millot is sold, and no offers for the Frenchman have materialised yet. Millot joined Al-Ahli last summer from Stuttgart and made 40 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals and adding seven assists, though his form dipped in the closing weeks of last season.
