Al-Ahli confirm Nayef Masoud signing from Al-Fateh as fifth summer arrival
Al-Ahli Saudi have completed the signing of midfielder Nayef Masoud from Al-Fateh, confirming their fifth addition of the summer window.
Al-Ahli announced the deal runs for four years, keeping Masoud at the club until 2030. The midfielder said joining Al-Ahli marked an important step in his career, adding he was aware of the size of the responsibility that comes with representing the club's fans.
Masoud came through Al-Qadsiah's academy, breaking into their first team in 2020, before a loan spell at Al-Khaleej in January 2024 preceded his move to Al-Fateh that summer. He made 27 appearances for Al-Fateh across the Roshn League and King's Cup last season, scoring once without registering an assist.
He joins a summer intake that already includes Gambian forward Abubakar Sidi Kinteh, Portugal's Francisco Trincao, Armenia's Eduard Spertsyan and Saudi international Mishal Al-Mutairi, a recruitment push that underlines Al-Ahli's ambitions for the coming season.
